Nap A regular short nap dramatically cuts the risk of dying from coronary heart disease, especially for working men. A cohort study of nearly 24,000 people over six years found that occasional nappers had a 12 percent lower coronary mortality, while those who napped at least three times a week for at least 30 minutes had a 37 percent lower mortality.
